General information on Canton Fair:

The Canton Fair or China Import and Export Fair is divided into three phases (see dates). Created in 1957, the Canton Fair is the world’s largest international trade show and sourcing hub. With over 30,000 exhibitors from various industries, you can virtually find any product you are looking for and much more. Ideas, trends and innovations from around the world are converged and exhibited on the Canton Fair. More than 170,000 international buyers are inspired by this show.

Visa requirements:

German citizens, citizens of other EU states and citizens of most foreign countries require a visa, which they must obtain prior to traveling to China. To apply for a Chinese visa your passport has to be valid at least six months from the date of entry into China.

Important Information of the Canton Fair:

Necessary documents to achieve a Buyer Entry Badge (IC Card):

Paper invitation or E-invitation issued by the Canton Fair (You receive it after your registration)
Valid Original Personal Documents
A most recent passport photo 5 cm x 4 cm (You may wait for a long time to take one on spot)
Your business card

Your IC Card is valid for multiple sessions of the Canton Fair. If you forget to bring it or lose it, the service fee for a new IC Card will be RMB 200,-/ card.
